DAY AT THE PARK

For a laid back Sunday we took a walk through Golden Gate Park. It’s a really great park that surprised us with a variety of cool places like the Academy of Sciences, the Japanese Tea Garden, the Conservatory of Flowers, Stow Lake (the largest of the man-made lakes in Golden Gate Park), polo fields and a true Dutch windmill with a garden donated by Queen Wilhelmina. We did not have the time to visit al these places, but we did cross the park all the way from the beginning to the end (the western waterfront of San Francisco), which was again a four-hour walk. Imagine how huge this park is.
To end this day like a true Sunday we went to see a movie in the theatre across from our hotel, just like home.
