LIKE NEVER BEFORE

Day three in the Grand Canyon was by far the most special day. It began with an amazing helicopter flight through the Canyon and ended with this mesmerizing sunset – one we had both never experienced before.

After setting foot on land again, we drove to Desert View Watchtower, which is by far the most impressing viewpoint of the ones we visited. The weather circumstances made this feeling so much stronger – the predicted snow that could fall down at any moment really fed our excitement! Also the clouds were acting if they were about to put up the show of their lives, and they actually did when the sunset kicked in. The most beautiful colors appeared, not only the ‘usual’ vanilla skies, but shades of purple, the brightest blue and even green surprised us. I may begin to sound like a broken record, but it made the landscape look totally surreal.

This post really underlines the fact that we had an awesome, breath taking experience being in the Grand Canyon and simply the best time. If this destination is not already in your top ten or even top five, make it so, as it will really shake your core, even for some time after you visited…

P.s. However it may seem unreal, the colors on the photos are genuine! Though there was a moment our camera started tripping over all these different shades, as you can see in the last two photos of this post. Pretty cool if you ask me…

P.p.s. Like this...
