Before we took the highway to drive the 492 miles (793 km) from Pensacola to Clearwater Beach, we took a little detour through Pensacola Beach. We’ve crossed seven states in the past five days and went from snowstorms to sunny weather in so little time it almost feels unreal… So when we walked onto this deserted beach to breath in a little fresh ocean air, and being almost blinded by the brightness of the sun, it felt a little bit like we were still dreaming…
